Welcome to my website! Here you can learn all the fascinating, and not so fascinating details of my life, my work, and my books. If you're called to armchair adventure, you've come to the right place. If a thriller with a good dose of science gets your heart racing, you will find it here. Within these pages you will explore mythology and history (not the boring kind) and become enlightened—well, maybe not. I also write a blog where you can learn about new books and books-in-progress, science and time travel, and writing in general. I post a variety of interesting and, depending on your  tastes, not so interesting tidbits, excerpts and opinions. You can also read my short series based on Time Meddlers called Matt and Sarah's Misadventures. When I'm not writing, I teach writing classes at the Shenkman Arts Centre and edit some novels.
