I charge $25/hour. I don't charge per word or per page, because you may have many pages that require absolutely no work.

Since I can't determine how long it will take me to edit your manuscript, I do require a deposit for a book-length manuscript of $100 prior to commencing work, another deposit halfway through, and the remainder when I've completed the edit. However, I will edit the first chapter of a book-length manuscript before we begin to show you the quality of my services. For a short story, or something of a technical nature, I will do the work initially, return a few pages and then require payment before returning the remainder.

Everything will be done online, manuscripts sent through email. Sorry, I don't take print copies through the regular postal service since I can mark your manuscript much easier in Word, rather than navigate through formatting issues.

Since I will be charging a variable amount and sending you an invoice, you must select the amount to send me either by credit card or a PayPal account. PayPal does not have a variable button other than Donate, although this is a business charge on a business account. Hopefully they will come up with something that suits a service industry in the future.
